What's New in WebStyle 4.0?

New Web Page object type

Now you're no longer restricted to making web graphics and inserting them into your web site yourself - you can create complete web pages already containing your graphics.

In Webstyle 4, web pages are just another template group - so the process is simple:

1.	Browse through the designs available until you find one you like.
2.	Choose from a number of different page layouts based on that design.
3.	Edit the theme colors of the web page design.
4.	Edit the individual graphic elements, including the NavBar buttons, menus and links.
5.	Export the complete page including graphics.

Webstyle makes it simple to copy changes from one layout to another, such as NavBars and menus, logos and colors. So once you have created your first page, it can take just minutes to produce a complete site with consistently themed pages. Creating a professional looking site has never been easier!

Photo album builder and web page album type

In Webstyle 3 we gave you the chance to edit and enhance your digital photos - and now you can make them into fully-functioning photo albums to use in your website.

You can have as many albums are you like, with as many photos as you like, display them in any order with titles and captions. And we provide album page layouts to match all of Webstyle's page designs.

As usual, we've taken the pain out of the process by making it as simple to use as possible. To make a photo album, all you have to do is:

1.	Load your photos into Webstyle 4's Photo Album maker.
2.	Edit, enhance, crop, or resize your photos if required.
3.	Arrange the order of your photos, add titles and captions, choose thumbnail and pop-ups settings.
4.	Choose your album page design and save the page.

Master file editing of photos

With other photo software, each time you load and save a photo it becomes more distorted and gradually deteriorates. Webstyle retains a memory of the original master file and every time you alter the image, even if you load a processed or 'after' image, it actually performs the requested operation using the original master.

This even allows you to perform 'miracles' such as to load a cropped .JPG photo, no matter how long ago you produced it, and then 'un-crop' and restore the removed parts of your picture (assuming your master image is available on your file system somewhere). This also means there is no cumulative distortion or deterioration, no matter how many times you load and edit your photos. You can even load an old JPEG photo and undo any changes you made. Do that with any other software!

New 'my colors' way of applying colors to graphics

When changing a color in a design, it's now possible to take a color you've used before in a previous project and copy it to your current design. This allows you to retain consistency between designs and it's a great time saver.

Automatic detection, download and install of new templates and designs

Webstyle 4 makes it easy to view any new designs right within the program, and download and install them as they become available. Webstyle automatically checks the Xara servers at intervals to determine whether there are new designs and templates available.
Extended compatibility

Webstyle 4 integration will now work with Microsoft FrontPage 2003 and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004. The NavBar menus now support Opera 7(PC), Mozilla(Apple Mac) and Safari(Apple Mac), in addition to the browsers already supported in version 3.

Integration with Dreamweaver and FrontPage

If you use Macromedia Dreamweaver or Microsoft FrontPage as your web authoring software, you can take advantage of seamless integration with Webstyle. When you install Webstyle, extra menus are installed in each of these programs so that you can insert Webstyle items while you are editing your web pages.
