How it Works

Any information you've ever viewed, received or sent is stored in your computer hard drive.

When you delete a file or send it to the recycle bin, you are only removing the reference (address) from a special directory called the File Allocation Table.

So while the address may be gone, the information is actually still there. Recovering, viewing and reading deleted data is quite easy to do. Does this pose a privacy or security issue with you?

UltraSentry works by overwriting the file/data with a series of repeated digital codes until the data is completely unrecoverable. In other words, when you use UltraSentry to delete a file, you can be sure it's gone... and stays gone forever!

Use UltraSentry's default security level of [DoD Level C] to permanently eradicate data from your system or create your own security level to exceed it.

Either right click and delete with UltraSentry from within Windows Explorer or use the profile builder to create your own file cleaning routine and schedule it to run daily, weekly, monthly or on event such as logoff or restart. It's that simple!

UltraSentry secure file delete and browser cleanup profiles

UltraSentry allows the user to run what we call profiles. A profile can be created from scratch using UltraSentry's profile wizard or the user can execute any of the three native profiles [log off clean up, privacy guard, browswer cleanup, and total system scrub] already pre-configured within the application. A profile is simply a collection of cleaning operations that will run together as a set routine.

Log off clean up

Secure log off clean up is a native profile to support the privacy requirements of people who share machines or have multi-user accounts on common desktops.

Privacy guard

The privacy guard will seek out and destroy (erase beyond recovery) the contents of USER folders that monitor and track Internet usage and habits but targets SYSTEM temporary files too. Privacy guard will also rid your computer of Windows "hidden" files and other data stored without your knowledge such as clipboard data.

Browser cleanup

The Browser cleanup profile securely deletes your browser history, cache, auto-complete data, and unwanted cookies. temporary internet files and directories are wiped clean which includes system temp files, user temp files, and the recycle bin.

Total system scrub

Total system scrub is a comprehensive system cleaning operation. Total system scrub combines the cleaning operations of log off clean up and privacy guard and goes much deeper.
