The program creates backups fully automatically without the need for complicated settings.

Simply connect an external hard drive to your notebook or desktop PC, start the program and activate the automatic backup feature. Your data will be backed up at regular intervals according to a schedule that can be adjusted individually.

Efficient & permanent

When you launch MAGIX Rescue Your Data for the first time, the program runs a full backup of your PC. Subsequent backups will only save data that has been changed since the last backup. This way, not only can your entire system be restored, but also older file versions or files that were deleted altogether.

The program's automatic backup feature is based on the unique MAGIX backup strategy which combines different backup types:

During the first backup, all data from all drives on your computer is backed up. To save time and space on your storage medium (we recommend using an external hard drive), subsequent backups only save changes, i.e. the program only saves files that have been changed or added since the last backup session.

After the first full backup, the program only creates so-called incremental backups. Using the cleaning assistant, they can be combined into incremental backups at regular intervals to save space.

Search and restore

Thanks to a convenient search mask you can scan your backup archive for individual files. Simply enter the name of the file or folder you are searching for and the program will display matching files, including different backup dates and versions. This way, you can restore deleted or changed files easily and quickly.
