capture Web pages as PDF files,
providing a full-color duplicate
for use offline. This is a great

attachments instead of sending a
link that requires connectivity
to the Web. Captured Web pages look
exactly like they would if you had
sent them to your printer, so its
even a great way to save copies
of receipts from web purchase without

Assemble Custom PDF Documents
With a single click of the mouse,
users can quickly assemble custom
PDF documents, combining scanned
paper and pages from PC applications,
including Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, into a single document.
PDF documents can be reordered and
merged right on the PaperPort Desktop
using PaperPort's drag & drop
stacking capability - just as you
do with real paper.

Nearly every application file type
and image format can be viewed within
the PaperPort Pro Office visual
desktop, which provides clear thumbnails

also includes built-in viewers for

Document Search and Retrieval
The SimpleSearch feature allows
users to quickly find any document
just by typing in a word or phrase
that appears in the document. Documents
stored on local PC's and on the
network are automatically indexed
by PaperPort, which uses highly
accurate OCR to make even scanned
paper and PDF files searchable.
SimpleSearch support Boolean queries,
fuzzy searching and keyword searching
as well.
Safely Annotate and Collaborate
with eMail
eMail is a convenient and fast way
to review and approve documents
within a workgroup, or with people
outside your organization. PaperPort
works with your current email system
to enhance the digital review process,
by converting Word and other editable
documents into more secure PDF files
- which can be read, but can't be
edited. This is especially ideal
for reviewing contracts and other
important documents. For capturing
review comments, PaperPort supports
creating and viewing annotations
within PDF files, including sticky
notes, highlights and stamps.

Filling out forms has never been
faster or easier thanks to the FormTyper™
feature, which instantly converts
static PDF forms into fill-able
electronic forms. Form fields are
automatically identified and created,

OCR in PaperPort Pro Office to extract
