Open architecture: plug-ins for Morae

Customize Morae for your needs by writing your own Recorder and Manager plug-ins. We got the ball rolling with a few that you might find useful and included them with Morae Manager 3.2

Draw the path of the mouse

Just one example of how you might use Morae's new open architecture to build custom capabilities. The mouse path plug-in will draw a line over the video to show mouse movement. (Included in Morae Manager 3.2).

Search events by webpage

Identify the problems on a webpage easily by searching for common events across participants. You can see if everyone had the same issues by searching across notes, markers, mouse clicks and more for specific URLs or page titles. (Included in Morae Manager 3.2).

Better task scoring in Observer

The new design of the task scoring feature in Observer makes it quick and easy to score tasks in real time as they are completed by the study participant.

Set markers with a Wii™ remote

Set markers and log tasks during recording using a Wii Remote. Just one push of a button will insert a marker on your timeline, so even if you are conducting research as a one-person team, you won't miss a thing.

Audio enhancements

The audio normalization feature levels out the volume throughout your recording. Plus, the audio waveform on the timeline helps you edit accurately by making it easy to tell when comments were made during the session.

Create and edit image clips

Add images of the interface being tested in written reports, presentations and videos. Show stakeholders what you mean by saving a video frame as an image, editing with Snagit or other image editor, then saving to your project.

Better task logging in Observer

The new task logging interface in Observer reduces errors by letting you adjust tasks as you log them. You can also log tasks created during the session, even if they were not predefined.
